FEMA Flood Maps The new Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) for the City of Naples has been released by FEMA and may be viewed below in PDF format. The Flood Insurance Rate Map panels do not show specific addresses or lots. Therefore, if a property's flood zone and base flood elevation can not be determined on the actual FIRM, please contact the Floodplain Coordinator at 213-5020 for an exact determination. City residents may obtain the 2005 map panels by stopping in the Community Development building located at 295 Riverside Circle. Current Flood Insurance Rate Maps The current Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) for the City of Naples took effect November 17, 2005. Ten FIRM panels encompass the City of Naples and are viewable below. These documents are in an Adobe Acrobat (PDF) format and require the free Acrobat plug-in to view. This plugin is available directly from Adobe's web site.
Prior Flood Insurance Rate Maps The Flood Insurance Rate Maps below are historical, representing prior flood zones and base flood elevations for the City of Naples. These are for informational purposes only and do not represent current flood zones. For the Flood Insurance Rate Map currently in effect, see the section above.
Flood Zone Map The Flood Zone Map below displays the City's varying flood zones and base flood elevations. All elevations reference the North American Vertical Datum of 1988 (NAVD 88). NAVD is representative of a range of values rounded to the nearest whole foot. The National Geodetic Vertical Datum (NGVD 29) is representative of +1.3 foot added to the NAVD value.
